#6 TWO THIRTY FIVE drops in class after his debut at Del Mar for trainer Brian Koriner, who put a near bullet work into this one over this track in preparation of this race. #1 CAST AND BLAST is working decently for his debut for Doug O'Neill, but must be able to deal with the rail post position. #9 BLOWEMAWAY, also trained by O'Neill, was gelded since his troubled debut at Del Mar and drops into an easier spot.
Trifecta : 6-1-9 / 6-1-9 / 6-1-9-5-8
#6 RUNBRORUN drops in class after a good front running try against better for Paul Aguirre. #5 LUCKY DAYS AHEAD returns to the races since April for Peter Miller. This one ran against better at that time. #9 WOODY BOY is working decently enough for his debut for Art Sherman and figures in this bottom level Maiden Claimer.
Trifecta : 6-5-9 / 6-5-9 / 6-5-9-2-8-(7)
#5 HE'S A KNOCKOUT will be tough at this bottom level Maiden Claimer as he had trouble at the gate last time out. #3 MONEY MAKIN MIKE has run well on occasion to warrant a look today at this mile distance. #7 STAR EXPRESS ran decently at seven furlongs to make him competitive going two turns today for Gary Sherlock. This will be his nineteenth career start to try and break his Maiden so he may be better suited for a minor award in today’s final race.
Trifecta : 5-3 / 5-3-7 / 5-3-7-6-2-1
#1 THUNDER BASIN steps up a notch after a nice win at Del Mar. This is another for the combination of trainer Kristen Mulhall and jockey Martin Pedroza who may have a productive day together. #7 SWISS CHEESE steps up in class after a win versus easier at Del Mar. #6 WHAT WE DOING is one for thirty lifetime. The win however was at Los Al.
Trifecta : 1-7 / 1-7-6 / 1-7-6-3-8-2
